Deion Sanders is one of the few American athletes who can boast of a successful career in two sports disciplines – baseball and football. He retired in 2006 and is now a coach and sports analyst.

Early years

The footballer was born in Sunshine State. He was raised by distant relatives, his mother abandoned her son at an early age. At school, he showed good results in sports, most of all he liked to play baseball and football. It was in these sports disciplines that he achieved success. Already in the senior classes, managers of sports clubs contacted him and offered him to start a career in professional sports.

Career

For almost ten years he tried to build a career in baseball, but he always felt out of place. By the 2000s, he decided to focus on American football.
