Lincoln Riley USC Contract Might Not Be As Fantastic As Twitter Says

University of Oklahoma head soccer coach Lincoln Riley has announced that he will be moving to a similar position at the University of Southern California next season.
Lincoln Riley is one of the most sought-after and up-and-coming professionals in the world of college soccer. Even if you only follow the NFL, you may have heard his last name – he periodically appears as a contender for a head coaching job at some professional club.
Does appointing one coach to mean that much and cost that much? It does, because.
A head coach on a college team is far more influential than a head coach on an NFL club. It’s just incomparable.
So it’s not surprising that most easily believed Robert Hefner’s tweet scattering the details of USC’s contract and new coach, even though the terms seemed unbelievable for a college league.
The conditions Hefner pointed out in his twit are:
• $110 million
• USC buying both his homes in Norman for $500,000 over asking ($1 million bonus)
• USC Buying a $6 million home in LA for him
• Unlimited use of the private jet 24/7 for family

However, the rumors have proven to be far too exaggerated. Not a single confirmation of the truthfulness of this information could be found. Moreover, the story about the purchase of the houses was refuted. So most likely it was just a random post from a random person, who appears to be an energy investor from Oklahoma (according to Sportico).
So let’s wish the USC team good luck with their new coach, the Oklahoma University — to find a new one, and Lincoln Riley to get all the houses he deserves.
